General Meeting Update

The Upper Bay Museum held its first general meeting of the year with a great turn out of over 30 members and supporters. The main topic of discussion was the event the UBM is hosting May 19th, 5:00 P.M., “A Night on the Town”, a fine dinner/dance/auction to honor the past founders and supporters of the museum Nick DeMond, Stewart DeMond, Gene Howell and Allan Purner. Tickets and prices will be available shortly. To date the museum is appreciative of the proud sponsors who have stepped forward and donated to support the event. The Board of Directors met last night to fulfill empty positions, as the president and secretary resigned. Previous Vice President stepped in as President of the Museum. Long time supporter of the museum and member of the Board, Frank Muller is the Vice President. Martin Thompson remained on board as Treasurer. Last but not least, Nichole Bryant Gillis has fulfilled the secretary position. Rick Bouchelle was elected to be the chairman of the 45th Upper Bay Museum Decoy show.
