Museum Membership: Why is it so important?

The Upper Bay Museum depends on the proceeds from our fundraising events, donations from visitors and supporters, and your membership dues.

We do not charge visitors admission.  We receive no recurring federal or state funding, although we have recently received a few small grants. We have been seeking additional grants to create new exhibits, improve current exhibits, and maintain the 140 year old H. L. Harvey Fish Market building.

We are slowly recovering from the effects of Covid – two years of canceled fundraising events.

We need the help of our membership fees, donations, and upcoming fundraisers – including the Upper Shore Decoy Show on October 21 – to “pay the bills.”
